Things come up – we understand that.  We really do.  Sometimes it’s an unavoidable scheduling conflict.  Other times you may realize that you mis-read the description and it’s just not a good fit.

Because we have to plan for the number of sign-ups we receive (and that often includes pre-paying for  meeting space, paying for webinar software, etc.), we hope you understand that we cannot always give refunds if you need to cancel after you’ve paid for an event with us.  So here’s how it works:

For single online events (webinars), we do NOT issue refunds.  But we do record the sessions.  If you let us know, we’ll make sure you get a copy of the recording via email to watch at your leisure.  In cases where the event is not recorded (e.g. technology glitch), we will allow you to transfer your registration over to the next session (most of our sessions repeat every couple of months).

For in-person events (like the SSC Green Auditor Certification) or webinar series (like the CSO Masterclass), we issue refunds as follows:

  • Cancellation requests received more than 90 days in advance receive 100% refunds (less a 10% administrative fee).
  • Cancellation requests received 30-90 days in advance receive 50% refunds (less a 10% administrative fee).
  • Cancellation requests received 15-29 days in advance receive 25% refunds (less a 10% administrative fee).
  • Cancellations received 14 or fewer days in advance do not receive refunds.

You may always choose to bump your registration to the next session of that event (for example, we usually offer the CSO Masterclass 3 times a year).  However, moving to the next class means that you forgo any refund.
