As an instructor of both undergraduate and graduate students in Business Sustainability, I found the “How to Conduct an Energy Audit” webinar to be immensely valuable. At Bentley University, we are considering the inclusion of Energy Audits as part of the Service-Learning experience. The MBA students at Bentley will be including some of the insights, principles and tools from the training in the Sustainability Plans which they create for non-profits and corporations. Similarly, at Massachusetts Maritime Academy, students earning their MS in Facilities Management will be able to use the best practices not only in their work but in their formal education, as well.

The webinar on Corporate Social Responsibility for Microenterprise was sharp and offered a fresh perspective. One of the ironies of CSR is that the approach grew out of grassroots action, (small is beautiful, food coops, etc.) and has been so successful that we now consider it to be part of the corporate lexicon.
