October Sustainability Summit – Will We See You There?

The Food Marketing Institute (FMI) and the Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) have developed a robust Sustainability Summit in DC this year for those in the food and agriculture industries that will aim to give companies the tools, connections, and proactive solutions to take their sustainability programs to the next level.

The great thing about the Summit this October is that it has been designed for a broad audience within the food and agriculture sector.  Despite your level of awareness, expertise, and experience ... you will be able to draw a lot of great information from this Summit and learn more about incorporating sustainability into every aspect of their business model.  Four content tracks cover emerging trends, engagement and awareness, technology and innovation, and supply chain management.  This is a great opportunity to meet with and hear from leading thinkers and change agents focused on issues everyone must focus on despite your industry or profession – including incorporating sustainable solutions from the ground up, reducing waste in the supply chain, and creating new and innovative incentives for consumers in the future.

The Sustainability Summit will be held at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill in DC from October 3rd to the 5th.  You can learn more here.

We are excited to attend this sustainability event and meet retailers, manufacturers, government and advocacy groups, and other professionals in sustainability to learn together, network, and seek common solutions.  We hope to see you there!  We'll be blogging about the Summit as well, so stay tuned ...
